A call to D. M[organ] Lewis to Mount Pleasant English Congregational Church, Hirwain, 27 June, 1878, with a covering letter of even date from John Morris, secretary, of Board Schools, Hirwain; a copy letter of acceptance, 2 July, 1878, from David Morgan Lewis, Velindre, co. Pembroke; and the certificate of ordination at Hirwain, 2 September, 1878. Also included in the volume is a holograph letter from [the Reverend] D[avid] Richards, Caerphilly, to [D. Morgan] Lewis, 1898 (the writer's reminiscences of, and associations with, the recipient's father, the Reverend Evan Lewis, Brynberian, and the recipient's proposed biography of his father) (printed in D.
