The Royal Commission on Land in Wales,

A royal warrant, dated 27 March 1893, appointing a Commission, of which Daniel Lleufer Thomas was secretary, '... to inquire into the conditions and circumstances under which land in Wales and Monmouthshire is held occupied and cultivated, and to report thereupon'.
