The Queen's Canadian Fund gift of an autographed quilt: correspondence
Correspondence relating to an autographed quilt given to the people of Wales through the Queen's Canadian Fund as an expression of good will and sympathy of the people of Edmonton, Alberta, and nearby districts. The quilt was exhibited at various strategic places, and was eventually deposited in the National Museum of Wales
The file comprises correspondence relating to the work of replacing a slate tablet at the entrance to the field in Penrhosllugwy where the Morris Memorial stood, and the practical arrangements with the Tablet unveiling ceremony, 11 June 1945. There are also letetrs concerning the proposed Morysiaid library/Museum at Holyhead, and other issues related to the Morris brothers.

The 'London Stone Tavern' dinner
Papers relating to the bicentennial dinner of the Cymmrodorion, comprising correspondence relating to the organisation of the dinner, draft menu, notes on 'bragawd'and a brochure on mead making, draft press notice, and related correspondence. There is also a list of taverns and coffee houses used for meetings of the Trustees in the late eighteenth century, and the London Stone Tavern in Cannon Street, one of these venues, was chosen to hold the celebratory dinner in.
The Lives of the British Saints
The folders comprises letters from the authors, S. Baring-Gould and John Fisher, relating to the work of publishing The Lives of the British Saints. There is also a prospectus of the book and a circular letter from Sir E. Vincent Evans announcing its publication, along with letters from various correspondents to Sir E. Vincent Evans enclosing payments for volumes of the work, mainly concerning the third volume published in 1911.
