[Private, Royal Welsh Fusiliers]

A half-length portrait of a private in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He is seated on a chair with the chair back to the camera. His arms are crossed in front of him and resting on the chair back to display his two wound stripes and three overseas service chevrons. He also wears a medal ribbon, possibly the 1914/15 star.

Thomas, Gader House.

A couple, both in military uniform. He, presumably Mr Thomas, wears the polar bear divisional patch of the 49th (West Riding) Infantry Division. His shoulder title ends with 'M.E.' She, presumably Mrs Thomas, has what maybe a circular cloth recognition patch on her left breast pocket.

[Private Goethe, Pembrey]

Studio portrait of an American serviceman with three qualification badges including Sharpshooter with rifle clasp and Expert with auto-rifle clasp. The negative has been inscribed "Pte Goethe, Pembrey." As other portraits of US servicemen also have Pembrey after their names it is probable that they were stationed at Pembrey. He can be further identified as an infantryman in the 28th Division.

Corporal E.L. Carman, 35475148

Studio portrait of an American serviceman, negative inscribed as per title. His circular collar badge with crossed pistols indicates that he is in an infantry unit, whilst his shoulder sleeve patch identifies him as being in the U.S. 28th Division.
