Political papers, 1944-1991, of Donald Richard Coleman, including correspondence files, 1964-1991, mainly of political interest; papers concerning the Labour Party, 1964-1990, many relating to the Labour Party Wales; and files, 1944-1990, relating to various subjects.

The fonds comprises minutes of the Liberal Democrats Wales Executive Committee, the Welsh Campaigns and Communications Committee, and the Finance and Administration Committee, 1988-1998. The papers were accumulated by Peter Black as a member of the Party, former chair of the Welsh Party, c. 1995-1997, and former chair of the Welsh Liberal Democrats Finance and Administration Committee.
