Includes a series of rentals of the estate of Sir Mark Wood, bart, 1820-1837 (R 8-18), in p's Peterstone, Marshfield, St Mellons, Rumney, Christchurch, Nash, Magor, Llantarnam and Langstone, co. Mon., and Peterston-super-Ely, Roath, Merthyr Tudful, Llantrisant, Coychurch, Coety, Llandaf, Cardiff and St Brides-super-Ely, co. Glam., including accounts of disbursements, land and level taxes, all collected by Francis McDonnell, 1820-35 (R 8-14), and Henry Mostyn, 1836-8 (R 15-18).

Legal and parliamentary papers

These papers mainly relate to the Court of Sewers of the Level of Wentlloog (1830-1832), legal cases against a contractor relating to damage caused to a coppice wood (1839), against the Newport Dock Co. (1840), and relating to the arrears of rent of an out-going tenant (1845), and Acts of Parliament relating to the Newport Dock Co. (1841-1844) and the Monmouthshire Canal Co. (1845).
