Deeds and documents, 1586-1910, relating to the trust created by the will, 25 April 1846, of Edwin Carter of Chepstow, Monmouthshire, and afterwards of Clifton in the city and county of Bristol, and pursuant to an order in Chancery in the cause of Carter v Carter, 1905. They include title deeds relating to premises in Monmouthshire, and Clifton, in Bristol, and family probate records.

Prof Jones was chair of Agricultural Botany at Kings College Durham, later the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne from 1947 until 1962. These photgraphs encompass his wide range of academic interests, particularly Grasslands.

This collection, which came from Castle Green, Cardigan, contains material relating to railways in West Wales, the Tivy Improvement Scheme and other matters of Cardiganshire interest.

The Celynog Manuscripts are a collection of miscellaneous 17th to 19th century correspondence and papers, consisting of examples of Welsh literature, Welsh poetry, musical compositions, works on Welsh grammar, medical recipes, extracts from various newspapers and periodicals, tithe accounts, and genealogical, geographical, historical and political manuscripts. -- The collection also contains manuscripts relating to religion in Wales, with examples of Welsh religious literature, Welsh sermons and hymns, and manuscripts relating to the Welsh Congregational churches, and translations of charters granted to the abbey of Strata Florida.
