The material purchased in 1999 includes further papers relating to Harri Webb's work, 1949-1983; further material connected with the use of Harri Webb's work, 1967-1995; further political papers, 1964-1977; further miscellaneous material, [c. 1950]-1995; and notes, [late 1970s]. -- The additional donation in 2004 (catalogued here) comprises copies of two ballads and a poem, [?1960x1979]-[1988x1994]; letters received by Harri Webb, 1956-1963, mainly relating to his work as editor of the Welsh Nation; material concerning Harri Webb's political activity, 1949-1963, both with the Parliament for Wales Campaign and with Plaid Cymru; material connected with the Welsh Nation, [1961x1964]; a handful of newspaper cuttings, [1951]-1963; and published material, 1961-1963, presumably kept for reference purposes.

This collection contains works in prose and verse by William Rees, D.D. (Gwilym Hiraethog) (1802-1883), Congregational minister, poet and lecturer. They include poetry and draft poetry, draft and original manuscripts of prose works, adjudications, a draft translation of the psalms, lectures, draft correspondence, a draft biography, sermons and drafts of sermons, etc.; also included is the autograph album of Elizabeth Peter, wife of John Peter (Ioan Pedr) (1833-1877).

The fonds consists of the research papers of Derrick Pritchard Webley, mainly relating to his work on the artist Penry Williams. The papers include correspondence, notes and typescript transcripts of letters relating to Williams, his works, his contemporaries and his cultural background, together with catalogues of works by Williams and other artists, and typescript drafts of chapters of Webley's posthumous work Cast to the winds: the life and work of Penry Williams (1802-1885) (Aberystwyth: National Library of Wales, 1997). Also included are papers relating to Derrick Webley's archaeological interests, in particular the palaeolithic geography of the Epirus region of Greece.

They include documents relating to proposed improvements to cottages, 1937-1938, and the restoration of Trewern Hall, 1983-1988; farm and household accounts, with miscellaneous financial papers and vouchers, 1952-1986; correspondence and papers concerning agricultural improvements and grant applications, 1977-1985; correspondence concerning the tenancy of Plas Newydd, Trewern, 1982-1984; personal and family papers, 1949-1984, relating to William Herbert Chapman (1955-1982) and to Murray Lloyd Chapman, including the latter's research notes and papers, on the history of Trewern and Montgomeryshire families and his work in civil engineering, 1973-1986. Plans of the estate and proposed improvements to the farm buildings accompanied some of the papers. Papers relating to Phase 2 Restoration of Trewern Hall, 1990-1993; were received, including a diary of events in two volumes; papers relating to Ivor William Lloyd Chapman and Margaret Eleanor Chapman; and Gregory-Allen papers. This group remains uncatalogued. A further collection was received August 2014 - this group also remains uncatalogued.
