Is still receiving congratulations from all sides. Is being pressed from Bangor and Conway for immediate meetings, but means to withstand the pressure until the beginning of 1906.

Would like William George to attend the delegates' meeting the next afternoon: 'I should like a preliminary canvass made throughout the Boroughs as soon as possible so that we may know how we stand & also how much effort one has to put in. This is important for me as I have to think of 4 or 5 other places where I ought to help'. Has to return to town on 3rd January for a Cabinet meeting. Has to put in an appearance in each of the Boroughs before then. Discusses arrangements to speak in the Boroughs. Has to attend the preliminary meeting for the Convention at Caernarvon on 2 January.
