Devises a capital m. called Dugoed Mowthwy, [t. Dugoed, p. Mallwyd], a m. called Cwm Bychan in p. Caer Einion Vechan, co. Mont., a m. in t. Dugoed aforesaid in the tenure of John ap Evan Tudor and all other lands in man. Mowthwy purchased from Theodor Owen, gent., and Evan Owen his son and heir apparent [see DH164-5], m's called Tyddyn Maes Camlan, Cae Llettu Gwilwyr and Dol y Coll, purchased from John Lloyd of Ffrith, gent., all in t. Camlan, [p. Mallwyd], a m. in t. Cwm Kewydd, [p. Llanymawddwy], subject to an annual rent charge of £7 to Gwen verch Morgan for life and purchased from David Morgan, a m. called Ty Ucha, the house or barn called Ty Newydd, m's called Ty yn y Llechwedd, Ty ym Hant y Voel, Tyddyn Issa and Ty Ymhen y Bryn, all in t. Kerist, [p. Mallwyd], and all his lands in the said p. purchased from Richard Morris David Vaughan and a m. purchased from Evan Thomas, to his wife Sydney Lloyd in augmentation of her dower and after her death to his second son Symon Lloyd and his heirs (further uses specified); his m's in t. Garthiaen, [p. Llandrillo-yn-edeirnion], one of which was part of the inheritance of Humffrey Ednyvet, clerk, dec., and the other part puchased by testator from Thomas ap Rutherch, dec., a parcel of land called Tir Dû and a plot of ground between the river Sotten and the churchyard wall in p. Llandrillo [In-edeirnion], purchased by testator from Thomas Barns and others, m's in t's Verdre Issa and Tyvos, [p. Llandrillo-in-edeirnion], purchased from Humffrey Hughes, esq., chief rents of 15s.81/2 issuing out of lands in t's Vaerdre Issa, Pennant, Edeirnion and Dynan, p. Llandrillo [In-edeirnion] purchased from the said H.H., a m. called Bryn Penllyn in Pennant Edernion in the said p., purchased from Thomas Ellis, a m. purchased from Foulke Lloyd in the said p., and a m. in the said p. called Tyddyn Llysdyn which descended to testator after the death of his uncle John Lloyd and Margaret his wife, to his wife Sydney Lloyd for life and after her death to his third son Meredith Lloyd and his heirs (further uses specified); a m. called Tyddyn y Bwlch, t. Rhiwedog, [p. Llanfor], to his wife until his eldest son John Lloyd becomes 21 yeas of age, a capital m. called Plas yn Rhiwedog and a mill called Melin Rhiwedog, in t's Rhiwedog and Penmen, [p. Llanfor], and all his other premises in cmt's Penllyn and Edernion to his wife in trust to maintain his children and to pay £1,500 to his daughter Margaret, £1,000 to his daughter Sydney with remainder to his eldest son John Lloyd; a m. called Ty Kerrig purchased from John ap Hugh, and a purchased m. called Plas Yn y Klettwr, both in t. Rhiwedog aforesaid, a burgage in Bala purchased from Margaret verch David ap Hugh, a m. called Tyddyn y Vron, p. Llanddervell, purchased from John Cadd'er, a m. called Tyddyn y Ddol Hesgog, t. Kynlas, [p. Llandrillo-in-edeirnion], purchased from Thomas ap Roberte, a m. called Carreg Yr Ynys, t. Nant Lleidiog, [p. Llanfor], purchased from David ap Humffrey and others, and a m. called Tyddyn y Vron, in t. Rhiwedog aforesaid, to his said wife until his eldest son after attaining his majority should assign to her for life a third of Plas yn Rhiwedog and all his estate in p's Llanvawr, Llanyckill, Llangowar and Llanddervell.
