'Names of some Constellations of Fixed Stars, peculiar to the Britains.' Overleaf is a note as follows: 'This Copy I find to be fuller than the two I saw of Dr Davies's own writing.' 'The Interlineations are Additional Proverbs & Notes of Mr Vaughan of Hengwrt's in his own hand'. Someone has added 'This is in Moses Wms's hand E. W.' The names of constellations, etc., are also in the autograph of Moses Williams. Part cut away.

A notebook containing Latin hexameters, etc., translated word for word into English. At the reverse end are, 'The Prophesies of an old man lately & strangely knowne to be in ye City of Rome in Italy & what Transacons shall hapen yearly for 11 years', viz 1693-1703. Damaged.

A sheet of Welsh poetry endorsed 'Caniadau Iolo Morganwg 1797', but seemingly earlier in date, containing: (a) A poem in 15 verses attributed to 'William Robert o'r ydwal' beginning 'Y Deryn nad eurol (Y fwyalch dda fywiol) wyt iraidd naturiol ...'; (b) Verses beginning, 'Clywais gog adeiniog dyner' attributed to Ed. Dafydd o Fargam. (c) A poem (incomplete) beginning (?) 'Wrth rrodio'n y meusydd mewn llwyni'n dra llonydd ...'. Cf. MS 101, Item 22. Also on the paper is the address of 'Thos. Williams Marble Mason at Mr Joseph Prince Bricklayer at Mangwood More Critchel near Blandford Dorsetshire.' Poem (c) in continued in No. 2. Torn.

'A passage from Pindar applied to the Revelation of the Gospel (European Magazine, June 1794)', beginning, 'O Fragile and ephemeral man'. In the margin are the words 'Verses from Pindar'. Damaged.
