Lister Venables' application to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for a separate district on the official form and a fuller answer to one of the queries on a separate sheet, the draft proposal of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for setting up the separate district of Newbridge-on-Wye to present to the Queen in Council (327), two copies of the London Gazette for July 14 1882 containing a copy of the Order in Council by which this scheme was ratified and a bound copy for July 14 and 28 (328), a copy of the same paper for Aug. 5, 1887 publishing the contents of an instrument for securing the grant of a stipend for the incumbent of the new district (328 iii), statistics referring to the living of Llanafan Fawr in 1866 and 1883 (330), the petition and signatures of some of the villagers of Newbridge against breaking away from the old parish of Llanyre (329), the manuscript and 5 printed copies of G. S. Venables' reply (332), and two printed copies (331) of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners Regulations for Grants out of the Common Fund (March 1881).
