Letter from Chester. A letter from Frederick Potts (Solicitor?) enclosed with 1582, about the property near Oswestry inherited by R.L.V. under the will of Miss Mary Hannah Venables, which had a mortgage charged upon it.
Letter from Temple, London. He has arranged to make Mary a present of a drawing of him [R.L.V.] by Lawrence and asks him to arrange for sittings without delay.
Letter from London. He thinks Henry would be prepared to be responsible for management of Llysdinam estate if R.L.V. would help by receiving the rents. He has visited the Exhibition.
