[Sunset, North Wales IV]

A sunset, probably taken from near Caernarfon looking in a westerly direction over the Menai Straits to the beach at Newborough and to the sea beyond. Overhanging branches from a tree on the right hand side are silhouetted against the sky.

[Footpath to Cwm Idwal]

A footpath heading towards what is thought to be Cwm Idwal. The path has been lined with stones and gravel, presumably to prevent erosion. The foreground is in focus, the background out of focus.

[Cotton Grass]

A small clump of Cotton Grass in flower. No attempt has been made to identify the species.

Detail of a small area of heathland with dessication cracks in the foreground. On the horizon can be seen the top of the ruined windmill on Parys Mountain.

[Skyline, Parys Mountain II]

A contre jour view of Parys Mountain. In the distance can be seen the top of the ruined windmill outlined against the sky. In the foreground vegetation is visible.

[Skyline, Parys Mountain IV]

A contre jour view of Parys Mountain. In the distance can be seen the top of the ruined windmill outlined against the sky. In the foreground Rosebay Willowherb is visible.
