Artworks 1

Loose colour photographs of artworks by JKW (Professional). None of them identify the photographer(s) responsible. Very few are dated. The artworks depicted cover the whole breadth of his artistic career and include portraits, landscapes, oil paintings, watercolours, posters etc. Most of the artworks depicted are available elsewhere in the collection.

Artworks 2

Loose b&w photographs of artworks by JKW (Professional). Most do not have a photographers credit on the reverse, consequently copyright holders uncertain in these cases. Many have evidently been used in various publications. There is some duplication.

Patagonia,

Autograph first draft, together with mostly incomplete typescript copies containing manuscript corrections and amendments, of an unpublished book, [1969]-1970, recounting the author's visit to Patagonia, November 1968 - February 1969. Typescripts and folders entitled 'Untitled book on Patagonia' and 'The Welsh in Patagonia'. Parts of this draft were published as 'An Artist in Welsh Patagonia', in The Anglo-Welsh Review, vol. 18, no. 42 (1970), pp. 5-32. In addition, the chapters relating to Patagonia in his book A wider sky (Llandysul, 1991), appear to have been based on this work. An ink sketch of a side profile of a head, signed by Kyffin Williams, is included on the reverse of p. 103 of the ink draft.

The black book, 1946-1964, includes later entries and contains rough pencil sketches of a face and the outlines of heads at the end of the volume.
