Southampton esq., one lease of the Rectory of Neath, and all other of l's leases for lives or for years, of and upon any messuages, tithes, lands, tenements or hereditaments whatsoever in co. Glam. and co. Carm., of 40 horses, geldings, mares, 40 oxen, 70 kine, 70 young beasts, 600 sheep and all "his hould stuffe, ympleamentes of husbandry, corne and plate". Consideration: that 2 pays respectively to Leison Evans, second son of 1, Thomas Evans, third son of 1, and Margaret Evans, daughter of 1, the sums of £500, f300, £500, that 2 pays all of l's debts, and maintains 1 and l's wife, and the said Leison Evans, Thomas Evans and Margaret Evans with meat, drink and longing. 19 Jan. 1653. 'Memorandum that this assignment was showed unto William Edwards Clerk and William Morgan Esq. being examined before us by vertue of a Commission out of the Heigh Cort of Chauncery in a matter there dependinge betweene Anna Doddington widow plaintiff & David Evans Esq. defendant'. 11 Jan. 1692.
