Testator bequeaths: various monetary legacies to relatives and others real estate, as noted in a deed of 6 Jan., 1667/8 (no. D977), to William Spicer the younger his s., and his heirs, or in difficult of issue to his grandchild Thomas Lawrence provided he takes the name of Spicer and pays to his mother Ellen Spicer otherwise Laurence, £20 a year, with reversion to the other children of Ellen Spicer otherwise Lawrence in default of issue, then to the testator's nephew John Wynne, s., of his sister Mary and to his heirs if the latter take the name of Spicer, then to his nephews Robert Jones of Carnarvon and William Jones s., of his cousin Daniel Jones respectively. The tmt., called Maes Inkley Spicer and the remainder of the lease of the townlands (in Carnarvon, co. Caern.,] to Owen Hughes of Bewmaris, co. Ang., and Robert Jones of Carnarvon, co. Caern., gent., to use for the payment of legacies arid the remainder for the maintenance and education of his grandchild Thomas Lawrence otherwise Spicer, and if he should die before the money is used, the rest to go to the testator's d., Ellen Spicer otherwise Lawrence, with reversion to Robert Jones of Carnarvon, then to William Jones s., of his cousin David Jones. Testator appoints his grandchild Thomas Lawrence otherwise Spicer his executor.
