He wished he had known sooner that Mr. Middleton had thoughts of standing for the county of Denbygh. He feared that Mr. Watkin Williams had secured a good many of the freeholders with whom he might have had an interest. He would send orders to his agent to speak to 'those that are in my Interest to be for you'.

West should require to be produced before a select committee which was to consider Mr. West's complaint concerning an undue election and double return for the borough of Denbigh.
