Has just been reading John Herbert Lewis's letter in Rendel's Memoirs. John Herbert Lewis's diaries would make interesting reading. John Hugh Edwards has written another biography of Lloyd George. His health is much improved and is kept fully occupied with the Public Assistance Committee and the Parliamentary Bill, the latter 'a queer concoction'. There is much interest in the measure at Wrexham and Dyffryn Clwyd. Has been reading Balfour's Reminiscences.
