Letter from Lord Clwyd, Abergele,

Thanks for letting him see Barker's letter. Comments on India. Recent developments in political life - 'I, too, deeply regret the fact that the Labour Parliamentary representatives are practically solid against the new Government'. Hopes a section of the working class will rally to the government. It is strange to reflect that Lloyd George is out of the government. Family news.

Letter from E. Morgan Humphreys, Caernarfon,

Thanks for the letter and the books. Has read a number of books on Gandhi. Discusses political life. Has discussed denominational newspapers with John Arthur Price. D. R. Daniel has completed his part of the biography of Tom Ellis. 'Daniel was very shrewd and an excellent letter writer ... but I think he was afflicted with nervousness or self-consciousness when he began to write for publication'.

University of Wales representation,

Correspondence and papers concerning the parliamentary representation of the University of Wales. Includes copies of the election addresses of Sir John Herbert Lewis and Millicent Mackenzie, the first woman to contest a Parliamentary election in Wales.
