Calendar,

A calendar, 1596, in the hand of Thomas Evans, giving additional entries to Mostyn MS 88. The manuscript also includes the Compot Manual and texts on astronomy, also in the hand of Thomas Evans.
According to a note on f. 54 this manuscript is a transcript of a manuscript by or belonging to 'E. D.'.

A calendar in the hand of Gutun Owain, giving additions or variations to the calendar in Mostyn MS 88.
The manuscript is in good condition.

Bundles and fragments,

Bundles 1 and 2 comprise medical recipes and other texts in English; bundle 3 comprises copies of the wills of Robert Vaughan and Hywel Vaughan, with indentures, bills of complaints and other documents; bundle 4 comprises bills of Madam Vaughan; bundle 5 comprises fragments of poetry, also vocabularies by the Rev. William Wynn; bundle 6 contains a Botanologium, a Treatise on Urine and other texts, [c. 1460]; bundle 7 comprises 16th and 17th century Welsh religious and moral texts; and bundle 8 comprises a collection of medical recipes in English and Welsh.
The fragments range in time from c. 1460 to 1750. Bundles 1, 2 (part ii), 3, 4 and 5 are contained in Peniarth MS 326 i; bundle 2 (part ii) is contained in Peniarth MS 326 ii; and bundles 6, 7 and 8 are contained in Peniarth MS 326 iii.

Fragments of Ach Dewi a Thalm o'i Fuchedd; Buchedd Beuno; Cysegrlan Fuchedd; Ymborth yr Enaid; Ieuan Offeiriad; the Lives of St Margaret and St Catherine; etc. compiled by three scribes of the 14th and 15th centuries.

Bucheddau'r Saint,

A manuscript in the hand of Thomas Wiliems comprising the laws of Hywel Dda; extracts from the White Book of Hergest (Peniarth MSS 4 & 5); charters, including those relating to the inhabitants and free tenants of Anglesey, Caernarvonshire, Merionethshire and Bardsey; the Lives of Saints; and poetry.

Brynkire family,

Illuminated pedigree roll entitled 'The Genealogie of the Ancient Family of Brynkire of Brynkire in the County of Carnarvon, deduced from Owen Gwyneth King of North Wales, their Paternal Ancestor to the Year 1696 ...', with later additions in the same hand to 1719.

Brutiau'r Brenhinoedd a'r Tywysogion,

A manuscript in the hand of William Cynwal, written after 24th January 1565, comprising Brut y Brenhinoedd from Cadwaladr to Queen Elizabeth and Brut y Tywysogion from Gwrtheyrn to Gwrthenenau, and other texts.
An entry reads: 'Oed Crist pan fu ddrudaniaeth mawr drwy rhan fwya o Gymru 1587'.

Brut y Tywysogion and grammar,

Secular and religious prose and narrative texts by three scribes dating from c. 1330.
The texts include a biblical history (p. 1); Brut y Tywysogion (p. 65), with a continuation from 1282 to 1332 (p. 292); Kyfoesi Myrddin a Gwenddydd (p. 302); and a Welsh grammar (p. 305).
