Siop y fferyllydd (Michael Roberts a fu farw yn 1869) oedd yr enwog Siop Meic. Defnyddiodd yr arlunydd drwydded i osod meindwr Capel y Bedyddwyr y tu ôl i Siop Goch. Ar yr ochr chwith i'r llun, gyferbyn a Siop Roberts fe welir Queen's Vaults. Y drws nesaf ond un i'r dafarn, tua'r dwyrain, oedd hen neuadd y dref a ddisodlwyd yn 1820. // The chemist's shop (Michael Roberts, who died in 1869) was the renowned Siop Meic. The artist used licence incorrectly to locate the tower of Tabernacle Chapel behind Siop Goch, 58 High Street. On the left of the picture, opposite Roberts's Shop, Queen's Vaults can be seen. Next door but one to the tavern, on the eastern side, was the site of the old town hall that was replaced in 1820. (Nid oes sicrwydd pwy oedd yr arlunydd, ond gweler y sylw ar P/9 a P/10 / Artist unknown for certain, but see note on P/9 & 10).
