The Pwllheli Chat was the forerunner of the Pwllheli News which was produced weekly during the summer months of the 1930s by Frederick Young, agent of the Andrews' Estate and probably came from the same source.

She entered insurance on 14 Oct. 1912, paid exactly 104 contributions (the minimum possible qualification) and then claimed sickness benefit. She never returned to work. Her personal contribution amounted to 416 pence (104 x 4d.).
