Articles Of Agreement comprising: (i) 1 to pay 3 the arrears of interest due on his wife's fortune; (ii) 1 and 2 to Join in a mortgage of the lands which Sir Halswell Tynte, their brother, died seised of in fee simple in Somerset, to trustees named in the marriage settlement of 3 and Jane his wife, for securing the payment of £400 to the uses contained in the settlement; (iii) 3 and his wife to assign to 2 (her brother) her share in the £9,000 mentioned in the will of Sir John Tynte, dec., and in all the estate they claim in the lands of the said Sir JT in respect of any portion due to her; (iv) Jane to assign to 1 a note of hand for £1,000 given to her by Sir Halswell Tynte.

Lease for 99 years determinable upon one life of a m., barns, garden and 500 a. of land of the measure of Erwmiskin called Bylfa, p. Aberdare, mearing on the east to a brook called Nant y Steythen, on the south to a brook called Hondi fach, on the west to a way leading from y fron, thence towards Nant Bwlch, and on the north to a brook called Nant miskyn, and from thence extending to Bwlch y Ladron; reserving timber, mines and quarries. Consideration: £13. Annual rent: £11, a couple of fat capons every New Year's tide; heriot. Duties: a man to work one day in every corn harvest. Endorsed: 'No. 17' 'Pa 17'. Counterpart.

Odynsfee, reserving timber, mines and quarries; covenants relating to repairs. Consideration: £120. Annual rent: £10. Duties: suit of mill at Llancarvan mill Endorsed: schedule of fields comprising the said m. and 'No. 32' 'Pa 28'. Counterpart.

1 As 1 in no. D94. 2 William Griffeth of Penmark, co. Glam., yeoman. Lease for 21 years of a m. called Nurstone Farm, p. Penmark with several pieces of land thereto belonging, reserving timber, mines and quarries; covenants relating to repairs and husbandry. Annual rent: £31 and £10 for every acre of meadow ground that has not been tilled which shall be ploughed. The lease was subsequently used as a draft for the following: 1788, 28 Sept. (1) Sir John Kemeys Tynte of Burhill, Surrey, and of Kevanmably, co. Glam., and Jane his wife; (2) John Spencer of p. St Athan, co. Glam., yeoman. Lease of the above premises for 14 years, reserving as above, covenants as above but with additional clauses relating to husbandry. Annual rent: £42. Endorsed: Schedule of fields comprising Nurstone Farm and 'No. 41 Pa34'. Counterpart.

Lease for 99 years determinable upon two lives to commence after the expiration of a lease granted to Thomas Brewer in 1755 and determinable upon the death of the said Thomas Brewer, of a m. (18 a.) in p. Lanedern, abutting to the lane leading from the Brook Dowles to the lane called Hewl y cencoed (further boundaries given), reserving timber, mines and quarries; covenants relating to repairs. Consideration: £6. Annual rent: £4, a couple of fat capons every New Years day; heriot. Duties: one man to work one day in corn harvest. Endorsed: 'No. 30'. Counterpart.

Lease for 99 years determinable upon two lives to commence after the expiration of a lease granted by 1 to Thomas Brewer in 1755 determinable upon the life of the said Thomas Brewer and after the expiration of no. D93, determinable upon the life of Thomas Richard, 2's son, of the m. specified in no. D93 reserving timber, mines and quarries covenants relating to repairs. Consideration: £6. Annual rent and duties: as in no. D93. Endorsed: 'No. 30'.

Deed Poll of John Kemeys Tynte of Kevenmably, co. Glam., esq., and Jane Kemeys Tynte, his wife, declaring that two sums of £800 and £500 advanced to them by Elborough Woodcock of Lincolns Inn, Middlesex, esq., shall be secured to EW under the trusts of a term of 1,000 years created by a deed dated 10 April 1786. Recites that by the said deed of 1786 estates in cos Glam. and Brec. were assigned for 1,000 years to Thomas Woodcock, gent., since dec., upon trust to raise any sum(s) of money not exceeding £9,400 and to apply the same as JKT or his wife should direct, that £7,000 has been raised by a mortgage and that EW has advanced to JKT £800 and £500.

Deed Poll whereby John Kemeys Tynte of George Street, Hanover Square, esq., and Jane his wife, direct that the personal representative of Thomas Woodcock, esq., dec., shall stand possessed of a term of years of and in the Penmark estate for securing £400 and other sums lent to JKT by Eldborough Woodcock, esq.
