The group consists of election addresses and leaflets and some administrative papers, 1952-1999, concerning the convention of county and district council elections in various parts of Wales.

The file consists of election addresses, leaflets and posters circulated in the Merthyr Tydfil constituency during the 1906 general election campaign, together with a large number of cuttings from national and local newspapers describing the campaign.

The file comprises election addresses and leaflets, 1964-1987, circulated in the Llanelli constituency during parliamentary, European and local election campaigns, togther with a small quantity of political circulars distributed by the political parties in the constituency at other times.
