A volume containing sermons and lectures, in Welsh and English, probably written by the Reverend William Morris (1796-1865), Congregationalist minister, of Birkenhead and Bryngwran, between 1830 and 1845, and which include a farewell sermon (p. 565) preached on leaving Birkenhead.

A volume containing a copy, 1862, of the pedigree of Sir William Jones of Castellmarch, Caernarvonshire, drawn up by Sion Cain of Oswestry in 1630. This 19th century copy was made from an illuminated pedigree with the arms in the library at Middle Hill.
A volume of pedigrees, 18 cent., relating to families living in the parishes of Mold, Flintshire and Hope, Flintshire (pp. 1-38 front to back), and of various English families (pp. 1-86 back to front). The volume is oblong, opening lengthways, and paginated from both ends as pp. 1-38 and 1-86 front to back and back to front respectively.
The second of four volumes, it contains the pedigrees of the bishops of London, Norwich, Oxford, Peterborough, Rochester, Salisbury, Winchester and Worcester. Some loose papers are inserted in the volume, including a list of bishops educated at Cambridge and further notes on some Archbishops of Canterbury.

Includes lists (pp. 270-85) of the manors belonging to the Earl of Pembroke, Marquis of Worcester, Earl of Leicester, Lord Bolingbroke, Carne family, Sir J. Stradling, Sir William Herbert, Sir John Aubrey, Sir Edward Lewis of Van, Sir Francis Popham and Sir Richard Basset.
A volume containing genealogies of families in Glamorgan, Monmouth and other parts of Wales, pp. 1-275 having been written in 1678 (see pp. 95, 103, etc.) and pp. 276-303 in various hands of the second half of 18 cent.
Poll books for Pembrokeshire for the years 1765 and 1768, the candidates in both elections being Sir Richard Philipps, bart, and Hugh Owen. A petition, signed by eighty-four persons, in favour of the bill introduced by Sir Henry Mackworth against the pressing seamen has been inserted at the beginning of the books.
A volume containing letters and petitions addressed to the managers of the Congregational Fund by various churches, ministers and students from Wales between 1769 and 1811. In most cases, the appeals are for grants to help either impecunious ministers or students wishing to proceed to one or other of the Nonconformist Academies; in the case of students a sketch of his 'Articles of religious belief' is usually appended.
Eight English poems of the 16th century; an anonymous Welsh poem beginning ''Roedd geneth lân, sobr, ar ochr y rhiw'; and extracts in the hand of the Reverend John Williams, Llanrwst.
The poll book of the Denbighshire election of 1741, the two candidates being Sir Watkin Williams Wynn and John Myddelton of Chirk Castle. The book gives the names of all the voters, the freehold in respect of which they voted and their place of residence. A note (incomplete), in a different hand, has been inserted at the end of the list of voters and relates to "an illegal return" by William Myddelton, sheriff, who was consequently sent to Newgate prison; opposite this note a contemporary print has been pasted which shows the sheriff in Newgate. Two letters, dated 24th October 1739, from Sir Watkin Williams Wynn to Edward Maddocks have been inserted into the book.
A case containing seven books of sermons, in Welsh, preached at various places in Brecknockshire between 1773 and 1794; the material sheds some light upon the prevalence of the Welsh language in the county at that time.
