Morrall angler's pocketbook,

Volume comprising a wallet with pockets inside the covers, enclosing a booklet of rough paper. The booklet contains feathers for tying flies, and a green pea recipe for carp bait. Wallet cover inscribed 'Cha's Morrall, Chester'; bookplate on the inside front cover, inscribed 'E. Morrall, Liverpool'. Booklet cover inscribed '(Game)'. An envelope printed 'G. Higham of Oswestry and Welshpool, gun, fishing rod and tackle manufacturer' found loose in the collection, containing a no. 4 Sneck hook has been added to the pocketbook.

Precis of the capital arrangements of Adam Lodge, Cyrus Morrall and Robert Greaves, in partnership as Robert Greaves & Co. of Liverpool, ropemakers, Aug. 1829 (Greaves contributing ropemaking machinery valued at £500, and Lodge and Morrall each contributing £500 in money) (pp. 1-2), and day book or journal, Sept. 1829-June 1830 (pp. 3-24). Followed by an account intitled 'Robert Morrall's cash account', Jan. 1858-Sept. 1870, plus a few entries, Oct. 1870-Aug. 1871. Spine labelled 'Day book'.

Morgan Llwyd letter

A letter, 25 March 1651, from Morgan Llwyd, from Wrexham, to Mr. John Whittell, Chester, 'to bee comunicated to them that are taught of God in Chester' (testifying a word concerning the being and life of Jesus Christ). Only the last paragraph is in the hand of Morgan Llwyd.

Memorandum book,

Memoranda of properties including in Dudleston, Ifton Rhyn, Ifton Heath and Bronygarth, with field numbers referring to maps 2-4. The only dated item is a note of game killed in 1828. From the rear of the volume are pencil notes relating to a Jones family, 1553-1696.
