Miscellaneous recipes

The file comprises loose recipes and small notebooks, 1725, 1771-1785, and a large 'Receipt Book' of Jane Griffith, 1769-1790, which contains culinary, medical, veterinary, household and cosmetic recipes, and which is a re-used Bangor diocesan registrar's account book of 1746-1749, probably owned previously by Jane's uncle, Rev. Hugh Hughes.

Mortgage of Coed Panton

The file comprises a mortgage for 500 years, dated 1761, of Coed Panton in the parish of Llanefydd, Denbighshire, with closes and parcels of land (names given), as security for repayment of a debt of £350 due by bond from John Griffith (3) of Garn to David Davies of Aberchwiler, preceded by a deed to make a tenant to the precipe of the Garn estate (of which Coed Panton was part), 1759.

George Powell and others for £5000 of Hafod, the mill, Tyn y Celyn, Vach, Pwll y Glomen, Bryn Deunydd and Erw'r Streat in the parish of Llanefydd , recently purchased from John Richard Heaton, subject to crown rent charge on Bryn Deunydd, with a reconveyance, 1862.
