The file comprises a case by Robert Hughes for John Trevor, lessee of Thomas Williams, Thomas Price and others, plt., against Thomas Jones of Mochdre, Robert Owen of Trebwll and others, defts., for forcible ejectment from farm of ten messuages, gardens, 100a. land, 50a. meadow, etc., in the parishes of Llandrillo and Llansanffraid Glan Conwy, co. Denbigh.

Case concerning Galltvaynan estate

The file comprises an opinion on drawing up deeds for properties in Llansannan and Ysbty [Ifan], with reference to the marriage settlement of John Jones and Elizabeth Welchman of Galltvaynan, made in 1730, to which John Griffith (2) of Garn and Robert Wynne of Plasnewydd were parties.

The file comprises a copy assignment, 1784, by John Griffith (3) of Garn and Jane, his wife, executrix of the will of her sister, Mary Hughes, to Richard Poole of Beaumaris, of properties mortgaged to M.H. in 1776, namely Ty newydd and Ty Tan y Fonwent, to release money for the payment of legacies specified in the will, proved 1782.

The series comprises deeds relating to properties of Humphrey Roberts of Bryn y Neuadd and his daughter, Mary Wynne of Plasnewydd, in the parish of Llansadwrn, 1770, 1784, and an unknown parish, 1790.
