The letters relate mainly to the Carmarthen Museum, the Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society & Field Club and other archaeological and antiquarian matters. Also included in the bundle are three bidding letters, Llanegwad/Llangathen 1826, Laugharne 1828, and Felinwen 1885; an elegy for Thomas Roberts of Gellyglyd, [Llanegwad], who died 12 Nov. 1883, aged 21; a printed poem, Cwyn y Cristion, by John Thomas (1775-1863) of Dyffryn Clettwr, co. The centenary of printing in Aberystwyth,

Material relating to the exhibition held at Aberystwyth in 1909 to celebrate the centenary of the introduction of printing into the town, comprising minutes of the exhibition committee, correspondence and press cuttings, and copies of the booklets issued and of addresses given by David Samuel. Also included are the signatures of visitors to the exhibition.
