Office Copy Will of Evan Evans of Cwmdulas, p. Llandewybrefi, co. Cardigan, gentleman,

Devising to his friends, Thomas Edward of Prisk and William Williams weaver, in trust, his house called Cwmdulas towards the maintenance of his son, John Evans, until his majority or marriage, but if he dies before then to his father, John Thomas, if he survives his son. If his father does not survive, then to his brother, John Evans. His personalty to the said trustees, to pay a £2 annuity to his wife, Elizabeth, in widowhood or until the son reaches his majority. Appoints his father executor. Codicil of even date, whereby the testator directs his trustees to make up any deficiency in his personalty for the payment of debts, by mortgaging Cwmdulas. Proved 3 May 1847. Testator died 24 Apr. 1847. Office Copy made 19 Nov. 1849. [The Testator adopted the surname Evans in lieu of Thomas, see no. 410a].
