[Leather Sandals and Daisies]

Fashion shot of leather sandals being worn by someone picking daisies. The photograph concentrates on a sandal being worn on the left foot with the persons right hand holding a bunch of daisies at fground level.

[London, Sian with muslin]

A contact sheet with twelve 6 x 6 cm images. Nine are are of Sian cutting holes in a piece of white muslin, the other three are of London including the Trafalgar Square fountain.

[Making Coffee]

A man about to decant Nescafe Instant Coffee from a large tin into three cups. On a counter in front of him are three cardboard boxes which once held Kattomeat, Cookeen and Peek Freans Biscuits respectively.

[Making plans]

A large photograph of an industrial scene is propped up. Superimposed on it are ground plans for a large building. In front of the photograph is a drawing table on which architectural plans for what appears to be a community centre are visible. The centre includes a gymnasium, theatre, rehearsal rooms, lending library, billiards room and common room.

[Merchant seamen]

Four seamen, one only partially visible, coiling a rope. Their headgear is suggestive of a tropical climate. Probably taken aboard the 'Eros' on which Joy Thomas sailed to Jamaica in 1937.
