[Revolvers, cropped version]

Two revolvers, similar to army standard issue placed on a copy of the [Daily ?] Chronicle dated March 2 1938 detailing a gun battle between criminals and the police. The two police officers mentioned received the Police Gallantry Medal in the New Years Honours list for 1939.
