Deceased died seized of a tmt called y bryn duy and lands in Tre prees, four m's, and 120 a. of land in Tre yr abat aforesaid [sic], of which the m's are called y Court vch y llyn, y keyrnyog vaur, keyrnyog vaughan, kefne y Rhyd, and two m's called maes y kernethe and Gwayn yr hyrn and 24 a. of land in Tre yr abat, all to be held for his life, with remainder to Robert Wyn ap Robert. The properties are held of the King as of the man. of Tre yr abat in socage. Deceased died 20 June 1546. The said Robert Wyn ap Robert is a kinsman and heir of the said Robert and was 19 years of age at the time of Robert's death. Deceased died seized of a m. called y pant y Gryviolen and 22 a. of land and a tmt called y murthyn y vaughes and 10 a. of land in Prees. The properties are held of the King as of the man. of Denbighland in socage. Humfrey ap Robert Gethyn ap Morys is son and nearest heir of the said Robert and was 23 years of age at the time of Robert's death. Latin. Note: 'prees' has been partly erased, apparently with a view to substituting 'yr abat' for it. The correction, however, has not been completed.
