Correspondence, letters, papers and copies of the rules of the Provincial Court concerning the Macnaghten case and relating to the deprivation of his living by the Bishop of Monmouth and his subsequent appeal, 1941-1942. Authors of the letters include the following: John E Bankes (2), L. S. Whitehead (5), Frederic Hood (5), A. E. Monahan (2), N. P. Williams (3) and Dr. Rocksborough Smith. Correspondence between Viscount Sankey and the Archbishop of Wales concerning the resignation of Lord Atkin from the Provincial Court is also included, 1938-1939.
