The series comprises notes, [c. 1870]-1915, relating mainly to ministers' and family genealogies, in particular relating to the Rev. David Davis (1745-1827), Castellhywel. His notes on David Davies were apparently used when writing the article, 'Davis Castell Hywel' (Cymru, May 1907).
