Speeches and drafts of speeches mostly typescript but with some manuscripts (and many include manuscript notes) on subjects such as saving the coastline, town and country planning and the importance of civic societies. The speeches were given at university societies, various functions at Portmeirion, other society dinners, and at meetings of the Council for the Protection of Rural England and Council for the Protection of Rural Wales, 1953-1976.

Tremadog,

Letters from Caernarfonshire County Council, the National Trust and others concerning the setting up of the Snowdonia National Park information centre at the Tremadog market hall which Sir Clough Williams-Ellis bought in order to see it restored. The file also includes photographs and a few drawings, and letters from Jonah Jones whose studio was at the market hall, 1959-1962.

Letters and papers concerning the application to demolish Llangoed, which was a listed building, with press cuttings concerning Llangoed and it's importance as Sir Clough Williams-Ellis's first major work, photographs of the castle, particulars of sale, and letters from Henry, Marquis of Anglesey, 1973-1976. Also in the file is a letter and a brochure concerning Gayhurst House and its conversion as research for Llangoed, 1974.
