Workbook compiled during the period 1918-1925, the earliest pieces were compiled with the help of his father, Theophilus Thomas. Most are scores copied from a book of children's hymn tunes, others are tunes compiled by Mansel Thomas.

Manuscript sketches and drafts relating to instrumental works. Working titles include: Etude for viola and piano; Abingdon suite No.1; An impromptu for Peter; A New Year's Day prelude; Rhapsody No.2 for Cel[l]o and piano; Treadam sends greetings to Ealing (organ music).

Manuscript sketches and drafts relating to vocal and choral music. Some scores are known to be in the hand of Peter Cobb.
