The file includes handwritten lists of newspaper and magazine publications by Hubbard under his own name and under his pseudonyms, 'Canis' and 'Barry Fraser', 1931-1948, with cuttings of several of the printed articles, an index to his files, 1938, lists of dog breeds and types, press cuttings about his life and reviews of his books.
The file includes a printed satirical poem on William Pitt's dog tax, possibly by John Walcot (alias 'Peter Pindar'), [c. 1800], and noted by Hubbard for its historical content.
