Deed Poll whereby 1 appoints 2 to act as trustees for 1's younger sons and daughter. 2 are to hold man's or lp's Llanthewy Rotherch, Hardwick and Dakins, the chief rents arising out of several m's in Abergavenny, the capital seat called Coldbrook, the park called Coldbrook Park and demesne lands (200 a.) and also lands in Abergavenny, Llantillio Pertholey, Llanover, Llanellan, Lanfoist, Llanwenarth, Llanthewy Rotherch, Llangattock, Hardwick, Llangattock Iuxta Usk, Penrose, Tregard, Treworgan, Hewlis, Bringwin, Llanvapley, Llanvetherine, Goytree, Lanover and Mamhilad and in p. Fragments of two letters relating to legal matters:. A undated, from John Jenkins, re William Williams and William David both of St Brides Major [co. Glam.]. The former is 'dangerously ill of a Dropsy'. B dated 31 Aug. 1742, from St Brides Major and in the hand of John Jenkins, relating to marriage articles which he encloses. Both letters refer to Cousin Taynton. One (or both) of the letters is addressed to William Williams at Caerleon. Fragile.

Letter from W[illiam] Williams, Attorney, containing a summary of a deed, as follows:. 1725, July 25. 1 Anne Morgan of Caerleon, widow. 2 Charles Van of Lanwern, esq. 3 W[illiam] Williams of p. Penhow, clerk. Conditional Surrender for £800 of copyhold m's and lands in p's Nash and Golcliffe, in man. Goldcliffe (boundaries described and acreages given) from 1 to 2 in trust for 3. Recital of several related deeds.
