‘Savoury justice’,

Correspondence (1950-1963) and a typescript copy (1949) of a story for adults about Welsh valley characters broadcast by the BBC Welsh Home Service in June 1950. Reference made in correspondence in file 31.

‘Snow White – Retold’,

Typescript copy (1957) of a story that was accepted on 2 Jan 1958 but published under the name of Violet Williams (see ‘Sunny Stories correspondence 14 March 1958, file 99). The story was also published in ‘Sunny Stories’, 7 April 1958 and the ‘Fishguard County Echo’ in October 1958.

‘The Azalea tree’,

Typescript copy of a 1950’s romantic fiction story for adults submitted to ‘Women’s Own’ and Amalgamated Press, but not accepted.

‘The long fulfillment’,

Correspondence and a typescript copy of a Welsh mystery play for adults based on the legend of King Arthur. It was written for television and submitted to T.W.W. (Television Wales and West) but not accepted.

‘The musical grasshopper’,

Correspondence (1957-1959), a typescript copy of the story and a script adapted from the original story for children, set to music and broadcast by the BBC in their ‘Let’s Join In’ series (summer 1959).

‘The tent fund’,

Typescript copy (c. 1956) of a children’s story about a boys Wolf Cub Pack published in the ‘Fishguard County Echo’ June 1958.
