A bound volume containing a group of original letters, 22 September 1899-1 June 1904, from Dr Morgan Davies of 10 Goring Street, Bishopsgate, London, (1854-1920) to TJE relating mainly to Celt Llundain: The London Kelt which TJE founded in 1895 and mainly edited until 1915. There are also three original letters, 1904 and undated, from TJE to Dr Morgan Davies. The volume also includes a copy of a printed circular, May 1919, inviting contributions to the Dr Morgan Davies Testimonial Fund on the occasion of his retirement due to ill-health, and a cutting from the South Wales Daily News, 23 August 1920, containing an obituary of Dr Morgan Davies.

A bound volume labelled 'T. J. Evans, Awst 9ed 1902', and containing poetry, 1843-79 and undated, by and in the autograph of Rees Lloyd Rees, 'Llwydfab', Ffosdigariad (later Glanteifi), Cellan, co. Card., with a few additional items in pencil by D. Byron Lewis, Llanddewibrefi, and an 'englyn' by Thomas Rees of Brynberian. The volume also contains a biographical note on Rees Lloyd Rees by TJE. There is also an index to the poems prepared by Rees Lloyd Rees.

A bound volume of press cuttings and miscellaneous papers, mainly printed, c. 1905-30, relating to the establishment and early development of the National Library of Wales. The most substantial item is a copy of the Catalogue of Rare Books & manuscripts exhibited in the Great Hall of the Library, August 1916. The volume also contains a bound typescript notebook entitled 'Cywyddau ynghyd ag Englynion a Cherdd o saerniaeth Sion Glyn Dafydd [J. Glyn Davies] argraffwyd gan Sion Glyn Dafydd. Aberdaron, 1899'.

A folder of printed items and press cuttings, c. 1921-50, including the Order of Service at the meeting to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Rev. H. Elvet Lewis, MA, at the Tabernacle chapel, King's Cross (1880-1930) on 25 September 1930, and a large group of press cuttings relating to the proposed reform of the National Eisteddfod.

A 'guard book' containing installation and consecration notices and other records, 1904-27, relating mainly to the London Welsh Lodge no. 2867. There are also items concerning the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution for Aged Freemasons and Widows of Freemasons, statements of accounts, press cuttings and a small quantity of correspondence.

A notebook kept by TJE entitled 'Gweithiau Gwilym Huw o Lanfair', William Hughes (d. 1852), together with copies of his printed poems annotated by TJE.

Correspondence and papers, c. 1915-25, relating to the activities of the Coalition Group of the members of the National Liberal Club, including two minute books covering the years 1920-5. Many of the papers concern an action brought by TJE in the Court of Chancery in 1920 against the Marquis of Lincolnshire, James A. Sinclair and John Henderson and all other members of the General Committee of the National Liberal Club.
