A Chirk Castle Estate rental, 1647-1648, kept by Watkin Kyffin, Glascoed, Llansilin, recording rents received by Sir Thomas Myddelton, kt (1586-1667) from properties in Denbighshire, Meirioneth, Montgomeryshire and Shropshire.

A true & p[er]fect Rentroll of dame Mary Myddelton her Joynture & lands bought by her for Mr. Rob[er]t & Richard Myddelton for the yeares 1671 & 1672. Mary Myddelton, née Napier (1598-1675), was the second wife of Sir Thomas Myddelton, second knight (1586-1667).
