Three letters, 1891-92, from Llewellyn Harris,| 'a Native of Llandufry', Escalante, Garfield County, Utah Territory, USA, to members of the Spurrell family (21/1-3). These letters, which reveal that the writer believed that he had found evidence of the Welsh Indians, are accompanied by drawings of 'Pictures and Letters I found on a Mountian . . . . Named Llewellyn's mountain'. There are also four letters concerning these letters and drawings, two being from Sir John Rhys, 1891 (21/4-5), a third (copy) from Edward B. Tylor, also 1891 (21/6), and a fourth from the Rev. William [George] Spurrell [elder brother of Walter Spurrell] to his sister Edith, nd (21/7). This last also contains pungent comments on the disestablishment controversy.
