Llythyrau at Hugh Jones,

Letters mainly addressed to Hugh Jones ('Cromwell o Went'). Most of the letters have sermon notes by Hugh Jones on their blank pages, and many are concerned solely with preaching engagements. The correspondents include Hugh Jones's father, Rowland Jones, his mother, Jane Jones, 1839, his wife, 1832, and his son, Ellice John Jones, 1859-1871, together with one letter, 1836, to Mrs Hugh Jones; W. L. Bathurst, 1854; William Howells, 1851; Edward Davies, Independent minister and tutor, 1838-1847; David Davies, principal of Carmarthen Academy, 1846-1847; Evan Davies ('Eta Delta'), 1834; William Davies, Independent minister and tutor, 1847; David Edward Edwardes, 1871; Griffith Jones, Bala and Tregarth, 1860; David Rees, Llanelli, 1835-1841, 1862; and William Rees ('Gwilym Hiraethog'), 1858-1871.
There are some references in NLW MS 10275E to David Rees, Llanelli.
