Card., and the convent of the same monastery, dated 5 July 1533, to John Madock for 99 years at a yearly rent of 5s.

Llandewi'r Cwm, co. Brec., and a m. called Istrad Gadverth in p. Maesmynys (tenants of all m's named). Consideration: a certain great sum of money paid beforehand. Recites letters patent, dated 18 Sept. 1617, by which the king bargained and sold the said lands to John Graye and Samuel Jones, and recites no. 6.

Feoffment To Uses, in part performance of a deed dated 20 Oct. 1608, of the manor or grange of Aberdihonw in p's Llanfair-ym-muallt, Llanddewi'r-cwm, and Maesmynys, co. Brec., a watercorn mill called Mellin Aberduhinw, the right of passage over the river Wye and the boat or ferry there, and all the other lands and tmt's of 1 in co. Brec., except 7 a. of meadow ground now in the tenure of Charles Walkot, esq., between Cae yr Turner and Kae yr Sayson on the south side, and the remains of the castle of Builth on the north side, and m's and tmt's in Builth which 1 purchased from William Thomas, otherwise Glover, to the use, as to the moiety of the premises, of 1 and Sibill his wife during their lives, and after their deaths to the use of William Parry the younger and his heirs legally begotten (further uses specified), and as to the other moiety, to the use of William Parry the younger and his heirs legally begotten (further uses specified). Llandyfalle, co. Brec., manor of Mota in p's Llanfillo, Llandyfaelog and t. Tre'r-graig, [p. Llandyfaelog], 1 m. and 4 gardens in p. Bronllys, 2 m's called Johnsfeild, otherwise Chauncefeild, in p. Talgarth, the manor or grange of Aberdihunow, 8 m's, a water mill called Aberdihunow mill and right of passage way across the Wye in p's Builth, Llanddewi'r-cwm, Maesmynys and Aberdihunow, [p. Llanddewi'r-cwm]. Recites an inquisition post mortem of the estate of the said William Parry, the pre-nuptial settlement, dated 20 Oct. 1608, of Roger Parry, eldest son of the said William Parry, and Elizabeth Delahay, wherein 1 conveyed lands in p's Llandyfalle, Llanfillo, Llandyfaelog and Tre'r-graig to trustees to the use, as to the lands in Llandyfalle, to the said Roger and Elizabeth and their heirs, and in default of such issue to the use of the heirs of 1, and the other lands mentioned to the use of 1 and Sibille his then wife during the term of their lives, and after their deaths to the use of Roger Parry and the heirs of his body begotten by Elizabeth, and in default of such issue to the use of the heirs of 1, a lease, dated 30 March 1621, of the m. called Chauncefeild to Elizabeth Parry, widow of Roger, for the term of her natural life, and no. 8. Lease for 99 years of a tmt called Dol y Vonwent belonging to the monastery of Strata Florida and situated in its territory named Aberdihonw in p. Llanddewi'r-cwm, co. Brec., covenants that 2 shall guard the monastery's mill and build one house on the said tmt at their own expense. Annual rent: 6s. Duties: heriot. Dated at the chapter house of Strata Florida. Latin.

Lease for 99 years of a tmt called Tythyn Vab Yoroth Moel and half a parcel of land in Maes Hyre belonging to the monastery of Strata Florida and situated in its territory named Aberdihonw in p. Llanddewi'r-cwm, co. Brec., covenants that 2 shall guard the mill along with the course of water, that they should not impede the place of ventilation on the said tmt and that they shall have guardianship of the wood.
