Testunau pregethau, &c.,

A pocket ledger belonging, 1866, to Anne Jane Davies, Wern House, Mostyn, sister of Margaret Mostyn Jones, containing a list of contributions towards the rebuilding of Mostyn Calvinistic Methodist chapel (ff. 1-3 verso). The volume was later used by her sister Martha Catherine Davies (afterwards Cartwright) to record names of preachers, with texts and notes of their sermons, heard at various chapels and churches in and around Mostyn, 1870-8 (ff. 13 verso-61 verso inverted text). Among the preachers noted are David Charles Davies, Trefeca, Daniel Owen, Mold, and Owen Thomas, Liverpool.
