Poetry which includes an elegy to Moses Jones, Tyddyn Isa, Llandderfel (f. 2), a poem on the tithing of geese in Llanuwchllyn, 1818 (f. 4), and an election song from the Bala area during the 1865 General Election (f. 9).

Two exercise books, one containing miscellaneous poetry and prose, together with drafts of two letters to the editor of Y Seren and of two letters to relatives, one of the latter being signed 'John ac Elizabeth Jones, Llangower, Bala'; the other book contains a list of titles of poems, 155 in all, many of which are connected with the Bala area.

Two letters received by Dr. A. L. Davies, Bala, from the Reverend Lewis John Thomas of Ffestiniog, a missionary with the London Missionary Society at Kamalapuram, Madras, India, and a letter from the Reverend D. H. Williams of Barry to the donor's father, Lewis Jones Davies of Llanuwchllyn.

Four documents relating to various Nonconformist causes in North Wales: f. 1, application, 1784, to the Bishop of Bangor by Presbyterians worshipping at Beaumaris, to register their meeting-house; f. 2, certificate of registration of a Presbyterian meeting-house at Bangor Street, Caernarfon, 1791; f. 4, a call to the Reverend Edward Davies, Classical tutor at Llanfyllin Academy, to minister at the Independent Chapel, Llanfyllin, 1820; f. 6, a lease of the Independent Chapel and land at Dolwyddelan, 1826.
