Accounts of the materials and cost of labour in the building of Tabernacle chapel, 1840, of money lent on interest and without interest, and how repaid, of subscribers, and of the remaining debt, 1839-Oct. 1847. Towards the back of the volume are entries of 21 births and baptisms; dates of baptism are not given, but the births are dated May 1835-April 1850. Enclosed are three loose pages containing the minutes of a meeting to decide whether to build a new chapel or a schoolroom, May 1901.

Baptismal register,

Volume entitled "Register of baptisms belonging to the congregation of Calvinistical Methodists assembling at Sarnau in the parish of Meifod, Montgomeryshire". The volume contains copies of twenty-one birth and baptismal entries, all recorded in the same hand.

Committee minute book,

Minutes of committee meetings, Sept.-Oct. 1916 and Feb. 1921-Jan. 1925, and, at the back of the volume, minutes of the Finance Committee, Feb.-March 1916. The volume was later used as a 'Record of events in Tabernacle Church', Sept. 1928-Nov. 1975, including newspaper cuttings and 'In memoriam' cards.

A plan, sections and elevations of a proposed new chapel, converting the present chapel into the schoolroom, [1901?]; invoices and receipts relating to the centenary, Feb.-Aug. 1920; a plan, section and elevations of proposed alterations and additions to the chapel, Aug. 1925; an insurance policy on the chapel, stable and manse, July 1931, amended April 1975; letters, invoices and receipts relating to alterations to the chapel, Aug. 1932-April 1934; planning consent for a car park, Nov. 1953, and one membership certificate, Dec. 1966.

Tabernacle centenary celebrations,

An account of Tabernacle's centenary celebrations, Whit week, 23-30 May 1920, written by the Rev. R. M. Roberts of Liverpool, pastor of Tabernacle, 1915-1920. The volume encloses several loose papers, including a poster and fliers for the celebrations, a flier for The story of Tabernacle, a copy of the centenary eisteddfod programme, annotated with the names of the winners, and a copy of the invitation to the Rev. Martin Davies to be pastor of Groes, Tabernacle and Maesgwyn, all May 1920.

Tabernacle district meeting minute book,

The district comprises Coedway, Geuffordd, Groes, Gwernypant, Llanymynech, Maesgwyn and Tabernacle. At the back of the volume is a list of the chairmen, secretaries and treasurers of the district meeting, 1921-1952. The volume encloses a three-page typescript report of a sub-committee on a 'Declaration on the ordinance and sacrements of the church', which first met on Monday 21 April [1947].

Audited accounts of public collections, incidental receipts, and ministerial and incidental payments. At the front of the volume is a memorandum of the current state of the church and its officers, Jan. 1915.
