Testator bequeathed: to his nephew, Owen Watkin, of p. Llywell, yeoman, all his freehold m's and lands in co. Brec.; to his wife, Anne, for the term of her life and thereafter to Owen Watkin, a m. in Llanvase, p. Saint Davides, being part of m's formerly surrendered to him by Richard Thomas the elder and Richard Thomas the younger, gentlemen; to his tenant, James Morgan, for the term of his life and thereafter to Owen Watkin, a m. surrendered to him by Richard Thomas the elder and Richard Thomas the younger; to Owen Watkin all other m's surrendered to him by Richard Thomas the elder and Richard Thomas the younger; to his wife, Anne, the sum of £15; to his niece, Jonet, wife of Morgan Thomas of Devinnok, the sum of £10; to his niece, Angharad, wife of William Prees of Merthir, and to her son, Evan, the sum of £5 a piece; to his godson, Morgan Bowen, son of Owen Watkin, the sum of £10; to Lysod, wife of Rice Price of Llywell, the sum of £10; to the three sons of his tenant, Lewellyn Wm, the sum of 50s. to be equally divided between them; to the poor of the parish of Llywell the sum of 20s. to be distributed between them every Christmas Eve for 10 years, the payment thereof charged upon a m. called Tyr Nant Craynog in p.
